Chow Ruen Xin, Esther

Esther Chow is currently practicing as an advocate and solicitor in Messrs. Azman, Davidson & Co, Kuala Lumpur.

Esther Chow’s practice focuses on building and construction litigation, arbitration and drafting works relating to construction projects. Esther Chow also undertakes non-contentious advisory work for his clients, which complements her arbitration and litigation-based work.

On the arbitration front, she acts in arbitral proceedings relating to construction disputes under the auspices of arbitral institutions such as the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) and the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM). Esther Chow also acts in arbitration-related litigation, including applying to court for interim measures, and setting aside and enforcing arbitral awards.

Esther Chow conducted judicial review and administrative law proceedings concerning planning issues and local authority issues.

Prior to joining Azman, Davidson & Co in 2011, Esther Chow was an associate in a large Malaysia law firm.

Esther Chow read law at the University of Malaya and graduated in 2008. She was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2009.
